TBM 940 is an upgraded TBM 930 model introduced in 2016.
The new turboprop is fitted with an auto thrust system built for the first time onboard a single-engine turboprop aircraft weighing less than 5.675 kg.
It functions well for aircraft speed adjustments based on a fixed flight path and ensures a safe flight within the extreme allowable modes of engine traction.
The improved de-icing system can reduce the pilot’s workload and switches on automatically upon ice detection.
One more feature of the latest model is the Garmin G3000 avionics package with touch screens and the Home Safe emergency automatic landing system
onboard.
