The new model has inherited the Collins Aerospace Pro Line 21 avionics package that provides pilots with weather information, airport charts, detailed flight data, checklists, and a diagnostic system, all directly in the crew’s field of vision.

Powerful Pratt & Whitney PW545C engines, together with a large wingspan, provide a range of 3889 km. The Citation XLS Gen2 can be operated at airfields with short runways and is certified to take off from unpaved runways.
