The BBJ 777X is Boeing’s newest family of widebody aircraft . It is built on the basis of the wide-body
Boeing 777 using the advanced technologies of the
787 Dreamliner family.
The 777X family aircraft are the largest and most
fuel-efficient twin-engine airliners worldwide offering an exclusive onboard comfort for passengers. The
first flight was performed in January 2020, and the
first delivery of the aircraft of this family is scheduled
for 2021.
The 777X family includes two versions, the
777-8 and 777-9, which are designed to meet market
demand and customer preferences. Advanced engineering and innovative technologies, including a new
carbon fiber composite wing, new engines and natural laminar flow nacelles combine to achieve a 10%
reduction in fuel consumption and emissions.
